Yahiko

*insert awkward chuckle here*
Yeah, so I told one of my reviewers that there was more Amber Forest art in the works, and I wasn't lying... I've got a few of these that I'm working on (not even an attempt at a background because frankly I don't have the time). The original inspiration was a doodle from college that featured Yahiko in a hoodie holding a puppy-version of himself. (Who knows, I may dig that image out somewhere and try to color it.)
I'm coming up on the end of Amber Forest (not soon-soon, since it takes me so long to write chapters, but closer to the end than I ever thought I would be at one point), so I got kind of nostalgic about the source material and decided to do this. I did use a reference picture for Yahiko's face, though not his pose, in an attempt to mimic the original style. I know, it didn't come out quite right. Such is life. And dog-Yahiko is more the size he is as an adult than how big he's been as a puppy.
Can't think of much else to say right now, really.
